Oak Drive is an iconic allee, a gateway to one of America’s leading universities. Renovation and expansion are underway to restore it to its original design and heighten its beauty.
The ambitious effort fills gaps in Oak Drive and extends the planting of the oak trees to Broad Street. We will line the access road to Hamilton Street with new trees and establish a new grove of shade trees on the hillsides below Merrill House. New lighting and sidewalks will connect the campus to the Village of Hamilton and create a welcoming approach to Colgate.
